How it works

From your story to a finished song

You don't need to know anything about music. You need to know the person, or the business, the song is for — that is the part we can't do without you.

  1. 1

    Choose the kind of song

Pick the category that fits — a birthday, a wedding, a tribute, a jingle — and the package. The price is on the page before you start, and the package decides how fast it comes back and how many rounds of changes are included.

  2. 2

    Tell us the story

Who it's for, how you know them, the occasion, and the things only you would know — what they always say, what you call each other, the moment you'd want them to remember. You can tell us words that must be in it, and anything to avoid. The small, specific details are what make a song sound like it was written for one person, because they are what nobody else could have told us.

  3. 3

    We write the lyrics

A person writes the words from what you sent. The music is produced using AI tools and finished by us — we say so plainly, here and on every song's page, because you're paying for it and should know what you're buying.

  4. 4

You approve them, or ask for changes

We send the lyrics before anything is recorded. If a line is wrong, the nickname is spelled oddly, or you want a whole verse rewritten, say so and we rewrite it. Nothing is produced until you're happy with the words — this is the step that stops a finished song coming back wrong.

  5. 5

We produce it and send it to you

The finished song arrives on your own order page: play it, download it, and send it on by WhatsApp or however you like. Depending on your package you may also get a lyric video, the instrumental, cover art, or 15, 30 and 60 second cuts of a jingle.

Standard
2 rounds of lyric changes included

Premium

The clock starts when you approve the lyrics, not when you order — the writing happens before that, and how quickly you come back to us on the words is usually what decides the date. Need it sooner? Add express delivery and we'll move it to the front of the queue.

What makes a good brief

The difference between a song somebody likes and a song somebody cries at is almost always in the detail you give us. Worth including:

  • Their name, spelled and pronounced the way you actually say it
  • One specific thing they always say, or always do
  • A moment the two of you would both remember
  • What you'd say to them if you weren't embarrassed to say it out loud
  • For a business: the slogan, what you sell, where you are, and where the music will play

“She's a great mother” gives us nothing. “She sold fish at the market for twenty-two years so the five of us could go to school, and she still says God no dey sleep” gives us a song.

Questions

How long does it take?

Between 24 hours and 5 days, depending on the package you choose. Premium is ready in 24 hours, Standard in 48, and Basic in 3–5 days. If you need it sooner than that, add express delivery and we'll put it at the front of the queue.

What languages can the song be in?

English, French, Pidgin, or a mix of them in the same song. Tell us on the form which you want and we'll write in it.

Can I change the lyrics?

Yes. We send you the lyrics before anything is recorded, and nothing is produced until you approve them. Basic includes one round of changes, Standard two, Premium three.

How do I pay?

We talk to you first. Once we've agreed the brief we'll confirm the price and arrange payment with you directly — MTN MoMo, Orange Money or bank transfer. Nothing is produced until payment is confirmed.

Is it made with AI?

Partly, and we'd rather say so. The words are written by a person from the story you give us, and the music is produced using AI tools and then finished by us. That is how we can make something original for one person at this price and in this time.

What if I don't like it?

Tell us and we'll fix it — that's what the revisions are for, and we'd rather do another pass than leave you with something you won't play. If we can't make it right, we'll refund you.

Can I use it for my business?

The business categories come with a commercial licence, which covers advertising, radio, events and monetised video. The personal categories are for private use and sharing that isn't monetised — if you need commercial use on one of those, add the licence upgrade on the form.

Ready to start?

You can stop halfway and come back — we keep what you've written on your device.
